The Journey
Zac Milczarek is one of Upper 90 College’s most exciting current athletes – a Canberra-born forward from Daramalan College who has become the leading scorer for Corban University’s Warriors in Salem, Oregon, competing in the Cascade Collegiate Conference of the NAIA. Growing up in Canberra and competing for Canberra Olympic FC, Zac was placed by Upper 90 College at Corban University – a Christian NAIA university in the lush Pacific Northwest. His impact was immediate: Canberra Olympic FC celebrated his success as he became the leading scorer for his team in his second year. In the 2024 season, Zac delivered one of the most memorable performances in Corban men’s soccer history, scoring the match-winning goal from a header to hand Bushnell their first loss of the 2024 season in a crucial conference road win. His combination of height, athleticism, and finishing quality makes him one of the CCC’s most dangerous forwards. As an ongoing Upper 90 client, Zac’s journey from the ACT NPL to the NAIA in Oregon is a compelling story of a player who backed himself and found his perfect pathway.
Challenges Overcome
Adapting from the ACT football environment to the physical NAIA game in the Pacific Northwest required Zac to develop quickly. Becoming the leading scorer in his second year and delivering match-winning performances in conference play confirmed his exceptional quality.
