Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Tony's journey took him across continents, from the elite youth playing fields of Westfield Sports High School, the youth national teams with the Joey’s, developing in the A-League youth system with Sydney FC, into the highly competitive college soccer scene at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) in the USA.

Tony Lo's soccer journey began in Sydney, where he graduated from Westfield Sports High School, a breeding ground for sporting talent. His exceptional skills and commitment to the game led him to represent the Australian U17 Joey's National Team in 2011 and play for Sydney FC's youth system, showcasing his prowess in the youth playing circuit.

Transition to CSUSB and College Soccer Glory:

Tony's journey took a transpacific turn when he joined the California State University, San Bernardino Coyotes. Despite the challenges of transitioning to a new country and culture, Tony embraced the opportunity as a Bio-Pre Med major. On the soccer field, he left an indelible mark as a highly talented midfielder in the tough California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) conference.

Over his college soccer career, Tony earned multiple academic and athletic accolades, including being named a two-time All-CCAA Midfielder. His commitment to excellence extended beyond the field, garnering recognition from the NCAA with the Ethnic Minority and Women's Enhancement Graduate Scholarship. This prestigious award facilitated Tony's pursuit of an MBA at Lawrence Technological University in Michigan.

While studying for his MBA in Project Management at Lawrence Tech, Tony delved into coaching as a Graduate Assistant for the Blue Devils' soccer program. His role extended beyond the pitch, as he also contributed as a research assistant in the business department, showcasing his diverse talents and interests.

Career and Coaching in Australia:

Since returning home to Australia, Tony Lo has seamlessly integrated his education and experiences into his professional life. Currently working as a Transition Manager within the Transport and Logistics industry, Tony remains connected to the game he loves. As an Assistant Coach at the NSW Institute Program, he contributes to the elite development pathway for women's soccer. Tony also continues to play in the Men's New South Wales National Premier League, exemplifying his enduring passion for the sport.
