Exploring the USA Soccer Landscape: Taran Garcia's Journey

Over the past month, Upper 90 College client from Victoria, Australia, Taran Garcia embarked on an incredible journey across the United States, visiting top-tier 2-year and 4-year college soccer programs in California, New Jersey, St. Louis, and West Virginia. Leveraging our Upper 90 College Connect Experience service, Taran gained firsthand insight into some of the nation's most prestigious college soccer environments.

The Connect Experience service, an additional value to our core recruiting services, provides our clients with the opportunity to train directly with college coaches and experience the unique atmosphere of college soccer programs. This service is particularly beneficial for players like Taran, as it allows them to showcase their skills in person, often opening doors to programs that typically do not recruit players unless they have seen them play firsthand.

Throughout his journey, Taran had the privilege of training at a variety of colleges and universities, including Cal State Dominguez Hills (NCAA D2), Camden County College (NJCAA), Norco College (CCCAA), Jefferson College (NJCAA), and Southwest Virginia Community College (NJCAA). Each training experience offered a unique perspective on college soccer and provided Taran with invaluable exposure to different coaching styles and program cultures.

One highlight of Taran's journey was the opportunity to train at Dignity Health Sports Park, the home ground of the LA Galaxy and also the home ground for Cal State Dominguez Hills. This experience allowed Taran to immerse himself in a professional soccer environment and gain insights into the level of play expected at the collegiate level.
