Elevating Their Game: Upper 90 College Clients Shine in the USA Semi-Professional Soccer Scene

Congratulations to our Upper 90 clients who have signed with semi professional clubs this summer in the USA!

In the USA college soccer system, the offseason is not just a time for rest; it's an opportunity for players to push themselves further, to grow, and to showcase their skills on bigger stages.

This summer, we're excited to congratulate four of our exceptional Upper 90 College clients who have signed with top-tier semi-professional franchises across the USA. Let's dive deeper into their exciting journeys and explore the advantages of participating in the semi-professional ranks during their time in the USA college soccer system.

1. Jarrod Henson - Corpus Christi FC (Texas USL 2):

Corpus Christi FC, competing in the USL League Two, provides Jarrod with a platform to challenge himself against some of the best young talents in the country. The league, known for its high level of competition and professional setup, offers an invaluable opportunity for Jarrod to hone his skills and gain exposure to higher levels of play.

2. Ryan Mrvcic - Erie Commodores FC (Pennsylvania):

Ryan's decision to join Erie Commodores FC, a prominent franchise in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), showcases his commitment to elevating his game. With a rich history and passionate fanbase, the Commodores offer Ryan the chance to compete in a competitive environment while drawing attention from scouts and coaches at the professional level.

3. Liv Riddel - Lane United FC (Oregon USL W League): Lane United FC, a member of the USL W League, provides Liv with an exciting opportunity to showcase her talent on the West Coast. The league, known for its emphasis on player development and high-quality competition, offers Liv a chance to further refine her skills and gain valuable experience against top-tier opponents.

4. Emma Bates - Eagle FC (Pennsylvania USL W-League): Emma's decision to join Eagle FC, a respected franchise in the USL W-League, demonstrates her ambition to compete at the highest level. With a focus on promoting women's soccer and providing a platform for female athletes to excel, Eagle FC offers Emma the chance to shine on a national stage and attract attention from professional clubs.

Participating in semi-professional leagues during the summer months offers numerous advantages for our Upper 90 College clients. Firstly, it provides them with the opportunity to be scouted by higher-level clubs and coaches, opening doors to potential professional contracts and opportunities post their time playing college soccer in the USA. Additionally, playing in world-class stadiums and in front of large crowds of fans helps players acclimate to the pressure and intensity of professional soccer, preparing them for the next level of their careers, should they be lucky enough to gain an elusive pro contract post their time in college.

Moreover, the growth of semi-professional soccer in the USA has created more avenues for college soccer players to gain further playing opportunities in elite training environments. Leagues like USL League Two, the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), and the USL W League prioritize player development and provide a competitive platform for athletes to showcase their talents and continue their growth during the offseason.

We are incredibly proud of Jarrod, Ryan, Liv, and Emma for seizing the opportunity to challenge themselves in the USA semi-professional soccer scene. Their dedication, talent, and determination exemplify the spirit of Upper 90 College, and we look forward to witnessing their continued success on and off the field. Here's to a summer of growth, development, and unforgettable moments!
