Destination Mercyhurst:
Ryan has committed to NCAA D2 powerhouse Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania. This move marks a significant step in his soccer and academic journey, following the successful paths of Upper 90 College alumni Michael Blancato and Connor Wilkinson, who had stellar college soccer careers at Mercyhurst.
Versatile and Experienced:
As an experienced Center Back and Left Back, Ryan brings considerable first-team experience from the National Premier Leagues in New South Wales, having showcased his skills with Wollongong Wolves and Macarthur Rams.
Academics & Athletics:
Transitioning into a Laker, Ryan isn't just making waves on the field but is also continuing his Accounting degree, laying the foundation for a successful future both academically and athletically.
Leadership on Display:
Known for his leadership qualities, Ryan is set to be a vital presence on the field for the Lakers. Mercyhurst, with a remarkable record of 14-3-1 in the fiercely competitive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, has been ranked as high as #18 in Division 2 in 2023.
