Todd Whittaker

Alumnus - Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas (NCAA DIII)

Todd Whittaker is an exemplary student athlete who has achieved great success in both his academic and athletic pursuits. A graduate of Trinity University in Texas, Todd was a standout soccer player for the school's men's team, earning First Team Academic All-American honors and graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors.

After graduation, Todd continued to pursue his passion for science by enrolling in a PhD program at the University of Colorado Boulder. As a Graduate Research Assistant, he has worked on projects related to chemical engineering, catalysis, kinetics, spectroscopy, and grand-canonical density. His research has been published in several journals and he was recently awarded the Graduate and Professional Student Government Outstanding Research Assistant Award and the Northrop Grumman Excellence Award.

Todd's accomplishments as a student athlete are equally impressive. During his time at Trinity University he was part of the men's soccer team that won two conference championships and made four NCAA tournament appearances. He was also named to the All-Conference team three times during his career there. 

In addition to his impressive academic and athletic achievements, Todd is also an active member of the community. He volunteers with various organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. He is also involved with research initiatives related to renewable energy sources such as hydrogen fuel cells.

Todd Whittaker is an inspiring example of what can be accomplished when you combine hard work with dedication and passion for your chosen field. His commitment to excellence both on the field and off has enabled him to achieve great success in both academics and athletics, making him a role model for students everywhere who are looking to make their mark on the world through their own hard work and determination.
